Walk of Fame in Hollywood
The Walk of Fame is a famous attraction in Los Angeles. It is a sidewalk to honor famous celebrities of the entertainment industry. It extends around 18 blocks and is approximately 1,55 miles long. Almost 2500 stars are extending over the Walk of Fame at the Hollywood Boulevard. It is also interesting to know, that the stars consist of pink terrazzo plates with bronze inscription, bronze border and the category icon.
Grauman’s Chinese Theatre
Moreover, you can visit the forecourt of the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, where many stars have pressed their hand- and footprints in fresh concrete, for example, John Wayne, Britney Spears and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Right next to the Chinese Theatre is the Dolby Theatre, where the Oscar awarding takes place. Especially the entrance, which is known from the television and the big stairs are worth a visit and a photo. Furthermore, on the walls you can find the titles of all winners of the „Best Picture Awards“.
The sign is probably the most popular attraction of the movie metropole. The lettering is located in the eastern part of the Hollywood Hills, more precisely at Mount Lee. Unfortunately, you can not look at it from near, because the area is blocked for security reasons and is additionally monitored.
